Our Mission

Empowering young people in our communities with the knowledge and confidence to act in a time of crisis—and potentially save a life.

We're helping high school students across Florida gain lifesaving CPR skills — at no cost to them.

The aftermath — alive because my friends acted fast and knew CPR.

Our Story

In October 2024, I was 26 years old when I went into sudden cardiac arrest. I was lucky — two of my best friends were with me. One called 911, and the other immediately started CPR.

Because of their quick actions, I survived. Most people aren’t as fortunate. That experience changed my life — and showed me just how powerful CPR knowledge really is.

That’s why I started Breathe Florida: to help give high school students the chance to learn CPR and be ready to save a life, just like my friends saved mine.

With Comfort, who called 911 and helped bring emergency care in time.

Just days before — dog naps and best friends. Moments like this mean even more now.

Our First Initiative: Brandon High School JROTC

The first initiative of Breathe Florida is close to my heart: bringing CPR certification to the JROTC program at Brandon High School, where I spent my high school years.

As a former cadet and Battalion Commander, I know how valuable their yearly First Aid training is — and I want to build on that by offering CPR training as an additional skill.

With your support, we can provide senior cadets with the opportunity to get CPR certified. If funds allow, we’ll expand this opportunity to the junior cadets as well.

Years before my cardiac arrest, this program helped build my leadership and confidence.

How Your Donation Will Help

Your support will directly help us provide CPR certification training to JROTC cadets at Brandon High School at no cost to them. Your donations will cover course fees and materials, enabling us to expand this life-saving opportunity.

The more donations we receive, the more cadets we can certify, giving them the skills they need to step up in a crisis. Together, we can ensure that this vital training reaches as many students as possible, starting with those in the JROTC program.
